King’s Cross Station – John McAslan + Partners

Fulcro della riqualificazione è la volta semi-circolare a ovest della stazione esistente, che crea un altro ingresso alla stazione e nuovi spazi pubblici; è alta 20 m e copre un'ampiezza di 150 m. La nuova galleria a campata unica è sorretta da 16 colonne d'acciaio dalla caratteristica forma ad albero.

The centerpiece of the redevelopment is the semi-circular vaulted concourse to the west of the existing station, creating a new entrance to the station and new public areas; it rises 20 m and has a 150 m lenght. The new single-span structure of the concourse is composed by 16 steel tree form columns.
