New Court, Rothschild Bank London Headquarters – Arup

L'edificio è innalzato dal piano stradale, riprisitinando il collegamento tra Lane Street e la chiesa di St. Stephen Walbrook. La costruzione è la combinazione di un cubo e di quattro volumi semplici adicenti. La facciata è di acciaio strutturale, rivestita da vetro oscurante. In copertura, sopra un giardino pensile, si staglia un cubo sospeso su pilotis.

The building is lifted up from the street, reinstating the visual connection between Lane Street and St. Stephen Walbrook church. The building is a combination of a cube and four simple adjoining volumes. The facade is made of structural steel, wrapped in dark glass. On the top of the cube there is a roof garden, above which a cube perches on pilotis.
